Harold Foust

Harold Foust, 78, of Rochester passed away at 2:23 a.m., Thursday, August 03, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Born on May 31, 1939 in Pulaski County, he was the son of the late Norman and Alice (Disinger) Foust.

Harold was a 1957 Kewanna High School graduate.

On June 19, 1957 he married Patricia “Pat” Larkin, she survives.

Harold was a lifelong farmer who was a member of the Rochester Eagles and the Rochester Moose. He was also an avid I.U. basketball fan.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Pat Foust of Rochester, his children, Colleen Keller (John) of Winamac and Carla McCormack (Brian) of Culver and Jeff Foust (Susan) of Rochester and sister in law, Bonnie Foust of Brownsburg. He is also survived by grandchildren, Jason Newman, Matt Newman (Catie), Michael Keller (Marielle), Austin Foust (Emily) and Kaitlin Foust.

He was also preceded in death by brothers, Willard, David and Marion Foust.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Home, Kewanna Chapel with Pastor Robert Metzger officiating.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, August 7, 2017 at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Leiters Ford I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Woodlawn Hospital in c/o the Rochester Oncology Department and/or Kindred Hospice.
