UPDATE: Logansport Police said in a news release Monday, Aug. 7 that the deaths of two Logansport residents have been ruled a murder/suicide.
ORIGINAL POST: Logansport Police were dispatched to a residence in the 400 block of Hanna Street at 3:55 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6 in reference to a death investigation. Upon officers’ arrival at the residence, they located two deceased individuals inside the residence. They are identified as Brooke N. Day, 24, and David L. Rush, 41, of Logansport. Both individuals had suffered gunshot wounds.
This is an active investigation and Logansport Police are being assisted by the Indiana State Police Crime Scene Technician. Further details will be released as the investigation progresses.
