On July 5, 2017 at 1:10 a.m., Logansport Police and Logansport Fire Departments were dispatched to 619 W. Miami Ave. in reference to a structure fire.
Upon arrival, officers found flames coming from the front of the house.
While at the scene, officers spoke with a man that saw the house fire, kicked in the back door to the residence, and, with assistance of another unidentified male, entered the residence to help get the occupants outside to safety.
Logansport Police Department detectives are asking for assistance in identifying the unidentified male that helped at the scene but left before officers had a chance to speak with him. They say it is possible the unidentified male might have information that might be helpful in the investigation.
