Marjorie M. Henson, 92, of Logansport passed away peacefully at 12:57 p.m., Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Miller’s Merry Manor.
Born on December 3, 1924 in Hammond, she was the daughter of the late George and Letha (Ulerick) Smith.
On April 19, 1942, she married John Henson. He preceded her in death on January 17, 2004.
She was a lifelong member of New Waverly United Methodist Church. She was also an avid Purdue fan. Marjorie enjoyed being a loving homemaker, gardening, cooking, mushroom hunting, taking care of her flowers, bowling in her younger years and most of all spending time with her family.
Survivors include her four sons, John Henson (Lori) of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Gordon Henson (Jayne) of Stillwater, Minnesota, Tim Henson (Mitzie) of Warsaw, Mark Henson (Bonnie) of Lexington, Kentucky and only daughter, Vikki Smith (Tommy Joe) of Logansport and sisters, Rosanna Scott, Phyllis Wicker and Martina Myers all of Logansport. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Karl Smith.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel with Pastor Chris Rife officiating.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the New Waverly United Methodist Church.
