The Cass County Highway Department began chip seal work on Wednesday, September 6. We will plan to communicate the anticipated roads for work in the afternoon of the day before. Although most roads won’t be closed, they will be restricted while the work is going on and drivers should plan an alternate route if possible. Residents and drivers should also expect loose stone and some dust in the days following the chip seal work. All work will be weather permitting, and will take place between approximately 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Roads scheduled for chip-seal work on Thursday 10/12 include:
600E from US 24 to 500S
