Logansport man killed in Pulaski County crash

Pulaski County, Star City- Troopers Dustin Rutledge and Todd Trottier were dispatched to do a reconstruction in Pulaski County on a three vehicle, single fatality that occurred at 6274 US 35 (between E County Road 600 and 675 South) in Star City, yesterday evening, Sunday, September 10, 2017, at approximately 5:23 p.m.

Preliminary investigation revealed  that a 2017 Chevrolet Cruze, driven by Bradyn Bordenet, 20, of Lafayette, allegedly crossed the center line on US 35, driving south bound in the north bound lane, forcing a 1930 Ford Model A off the road.

The driver of the Model A, Larry Williams, 67, of Knox, lost control and rolled the Model A approximately three times.

The Cruze continued south bound in the north bound lane on US 35 and struck a 1994 Honda Civic head on. The driver, Antonio Arzola, Junior, 24, of Logansport was pronounced dead at the scene by someone with the Pulaski County Coroner’s office.

Williams, who was headed home after just purchasing the Ford Model A was flown by medical helicopter to a Fort Wayne hospital with serious injuries.

Bordenet was also flown by medical helicopter with serious injuries to a hospital in Indianapolis.

This crash is still under investigation and toxicology results are pending.
