The Area Five Agency on Aging and Community Services Board of Directors has selected Charles “Chuck” LaDow to succeed Mike Meagher as Executive Director of the agency.
LaDow has been with the Logansport School Corporation for 24 years, most recently as the Director of the Two Rivers Academy and coach of the varsity cross country team. He has also served two terms on the Logansport City Council and currently serves on the Cass County Council.
Meagher is retiring after 38 years with the Agency.
Area Five Agency on Aging and Community Services is a non-profit dedicated to meeting the needs of the elderly, disabled and disadvantaged members of the communities it serves, which include Cass, Fulton, Howard, Miami, Tipton and Wabash Counties.
“I am both honored and excited to have been named the executive director of such a great organization,” LaDow says. “Area Five has so many incredible people working for the members of our community, both young and old. I am looking forward to getting to know all of them and to work with them.”
