Richard M. Fornal, 87, of Rochester passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at 10:43 p.m., Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at his residence.
Born on July 2, 1930 in Chicago, he was the son of the late John and Mary (Matras) Fornal.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
On September 5, 1953 he married Jean Summerlott, she survives.
Richard retired from Plymouth Tube Company in Winamac.
Survivors include his wife, Jean of Rochester, daughter, Terry Fornal of Winamac, sons, Michael Fornal (Rosemary) of Star City, John Fornal (Lisa) of Carmel and Dennis Fornal of Rochester, brother, Danny Fornal of Georgia, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
There will be no visitation or services.
