A large crowd braved temperatures in the 30s to pay tribute to those who have served our country during the Cass County Veterans Council’s annual Veterans Day Parade on Nov. 11, 2017.
WWII Veteran Arlis Sizemore, who served in the U.S. Army and received the Distinguished Unit Badge, Knight of the French Legion of Honor and 5 Bronze Stars, served as the 2017 Grand Marshal.
The event featured speakers Commissioner Ralph Anderson and Mayor Dave Kitchell and a performance by Brandt Carmichael. The Lewis Cass, Logansport and Pioneer bands joined to perform the National Anthem.
