Jeanette M. Hubler
Born November 30, 1920, in Carroll County, she was the daughter of Orla K. and Agnes Porter Shetterly.
On April 15, 1941, in Logansport, she was married to Elton Hubler, who preceded her in death on August 25, 2000.
Jeanette was a faithful farm wife and partner with her husband, Elton. They raised crops as well as cattle, hogs and chickens. Many years ago she was known for the home-baked pies she made for Poundstone, a restaurant in Deer Creek. She had also worked at Sears Roebuck in downtown Logansport. She enjoyed reading.
Jeanette was a member of All Saints Catholic Church.
Surviving are two sons, Henry Hubler, Flora and George Thomas “Tom” Hubler, Camden; grandchildren, Randy and Joan Hubler, Jeff and Melissa Hubler, Regina and Steve Gottschalk; great grandchildren, Zane Gottschalk, Brenna Gottschalk and Zachary Hubler, all of Rossville.
A daughter-in-law, Constance “Connie” Hubler and infant granddaughter, Lisa Hubler, preceded her in death.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 13, at All Saints Catholic Church, with Fr. Dominic Petan officiating.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday at Kroeger Funeral Home.
Interment will be in the Mount Calvary section of Mount Hope Cemetery.
