Joan Elizabeth Frushour

Joan Elizabeth Frushour, age 84, Logansport, passed away at 2:05 p.m. on Sunday, November 19, 2017, at WoodBridge Health Campus, one day before turning 85.

Born in Logansport on November 20, 1932, she was the daughter of Lambert H. and Crystal (Young) Halsema.

Joan worked at Delco Electronics in Kokomo, retiring in 1988.

She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, the Daughters of Isabella and the Logansport Art Association.

Besides spending time with all her family, she loved her cats and enjoyed painting, music, Notre Dame football and socializing. She was full of spunk and lived her life to the fullest with no regrets.

Surviving are sons, David (Pam) Clements, Mark Clements all of Logansport and Richard Clements, Kokomo; daughters, Rebecca (Jon) Wicker, Logansport, Mary Jane (Jeff) Phillips, Kokomo; ten grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren; former husband and friend, John Frushour.

Joan was preceded in death by twin siblings, Betty and Bobbie Halsema, sister, Virginia Swanson, twin brother, John Halsema and granddaughter, Sara Elizabeth Phillips.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 noon on Monday, November 27, 2017, at All Saints Catholic Church, Logansport, with Fr. Dominic Petan officiating.

Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:45 a.m. in the Parish Hall at All Saints.

Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport.
