Nancy Ann Frey

Nancy Ann Frey, 75, of Walton, passed away on October 14, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, IN.

Born September 13, 1942 in Logansport, she was the daughter to the late John and Maxine (Williams) McCord.

On October 16, 1961 in Logansport she married Jeff E. Frey who preceded in death April 24, 2007.

Nancy was a homemaker and farmers wife that assisted in the everyday farm operation for many years. She also drove a bus for Cass County Area Transit. Nancy was a 1960 graduate of Tipton Township High School. She was a life member of Anoka United Methodist Church and a Member of the Walton American Legion Post #418 Ladies Auxiliary. Nancy enjoyed playing cards, mushroom hunting and gambling.   Nancy was a compassionate person and helped many families in need.

Surviving are two sons, Kelly (Carla) Frey, Logansport; Shane (Darla) Frey, Walton, IN; granddaughter, Whitney Frey and fiancé Mike Doty, Logansport; three grandsons, Beau (Ronette) Frey, Peru, IN; Zachary (Amanda) Frey, Peru, IN; Ethan (Brianna) Frey, Peru, IN; six great grandchildren, Heidi, Kendall, Zoey, Avalyn, Drew, Payton; lifelong friends, Grant and Cinda Harris, Fort Wayne, IN.

One brother, Johnny McCord, preceded in death.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday November 4, 2017 in the Anoka United Methodist Church. A private burial will be held in the Deer Creek Onward cemetery.

A time of gathering will be held from 10:00 am until time of services at the church on Saturday.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Anoka United Methodist Church.
