Trine University thankful for all students

Last Updated on November 26, 2017 by cassnetwork

Historically, Trine University recognizes one specific student as a student of the month. In this season of Thanksgiving, it’s important to take a moment to recognize and say how thankful we are for all of our students.

The students at Trine University are a truly special breed of college students and they should be recognized for what they do as a whole including the sacrifices they make. The majority of our students are parents that work full time jobs, working all day and attending school in an accelerated program at night. Many of these students are still raising their families. Being an adult learner means sacrifice and they make frequent sacrifices by being gone in the evening and by not being able to attend many of their children’s activities. They also make sacrifices with their family time on the weekends by working on homework. In the end, these sacrifices will result in a parent that will be better equipped to provide a better life for their families, while setting an amazing example for their children.

Thankfully, these sacrifices will not last forever and our students keep their eye on the prize at the end of the race. Graduation day will be here before you know it and it will be amazing to see these students proudly wear their cap and gown as they cross the finish line in Angola, all with the love and support from their families. Trine University is thankful for all of our students staying up late, burning the candle at both ends, while working on their goals.
