PLEASE DO NOT CALL city, county or state police dispatch centers to ask road and weather conditions. Phone lines need to remain open for emergency calls.

REPORT AN OUTAGE

Cass County Emergency Management Agency says that should power outages occur, the best number to call is your electric provider. Many of the providers serving Cass County even have maps where you can see outages in real time with estimated restore times:

Please do NOT call the 911 center to report power outages.

Citizens are also reminded if they lose electrical power to their homes, follow all of the manufacturers safety precautions if they elect to use a generator as an alternate source of power. To avoid accidental carbon monoxide exposures,  operate generators outdoors.
