Christmas is Monday, Dec. 25, 2017. Here’s a list of holiday-related closings and special events.

Logansport City and Municipal Utilities Offices will be closed the following dates for the holiday season:
- Monday, December 25, 2017
- Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2017
- Monday, January 1, 2018
LOGANSPORT TRASH PICKUP: There will be no trash service on Christmas Day (Monday, 12/25) or New Year’s Day (Monday, 1/1). Republic Service will be running a day behind for the week of Christmas and New Year’s.
The Cass County Government Building (Courthouse) will be closed Monday, Dec. 25 and Monday, January 1. The Commissioners Meeting will be held Tuesday, January 2.
The Eel Township Trustee’s Office will be closed Friday, December 22nd through Monday December 25 for Christmas, and Monday, January 1 for the New Year’s Holiday,
Cass Transit and the Senior Center will be closed Saturday, Dec. 30 – Monday, January 1. The City Bus will not be running on those days.
The Logansport Library will be closed Sunday, Dec. 24 and Monday, Dec. 25, 2017, as well as Monday, January 1, 2018.
The Walton Library will be closed Dec. 23, 24, 25, 26 and 30, 2017 and Monday, January 1, 2018.
There will be no mail delivery on Monday, Dec. 25, 2017 or Monday, January 1, 2018.
BMV license branches: All Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicle (BMV) branches will be closed Saturday, December 23 through Tuesday, December 26 in observance of the Christmas Holiday. Branches will resume regularly scheduled business hours on Wednesday, December 27.
In addition, branches will be closed Saturday, December 30 through Monday, January 1 in observance of the New Year’s holiday. All branches will resume regularly scheduled business hours beginning Tuesday, January 2, 2018.
Due to maintenance, kiosk and online transactions will be unavailable from 5:00 p.m. local time on Friday, December 29, 2017 to 8:00 a.m. local time on Tuesday, January 2, 2018.
The Cass County Carousel will be open both Saturday, December 23 and Tuesday, December 26, 2017 from 1-5 p.m. Rides will be free courtesy of the Alpha Phi chapter of Beta Sigma Phi sorority.
Logansport Christmas in the Park will be open regular hours each night through Tuesday, Dec. 26. Find more info here.
