Guardian Angel Hospice celebrates 15 year anniversary

Last Updated on December 10, 2017 by cassnetwork

On Dec. 10, 2017, Guardian Angel Hospice celebrates our 15th anniversary! In 2001, a group of hospice professionals calling themselves “The Founding Angels” came together to start a new organization based on the belief that we could offer hospice care on a higher plane than any other resource in central Indiana.

Our group has evolved since that time, but one constant that has remained is the determination to run our organization by the stated values of professionalism, teamwork, stewardship, integrity and service. These values are the guiding force of our operations and have been placed at the top of our organizational charge to emphasize their importance.

Guaridan Angel Hospice has grown steadily in the number of patients we serve as well as the size of our staff and volunteer base to provide those services. We are proud to say we currently employ over 100 of the most highly-qualified staff available in hospice care. We continue to be locally-owned and operated with offices in Kokomo, Logansport, Lafayette and Carmel, Indiana.

Our focus is to provide outstanding end-of-life care to persons in Central Indiana. Guardian Angel Hospice currently serves 30 counties: Benton, Blackford, Boone, Carroll, Cass, Clinton, Fountain, Fulton, Grant, Delaware, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Henry, Howard, Huntington, Madison, Marion, Miami, Montgomery, Parke, Pulaski, Putnam, Tippecanoe, Tipton, Vermillion, Wabash, Warren, Wells and White.

We want to take this opportunity to thank all of our current and past employees for their contribution to providing comfort during life’s final moments and to the families that have chosen us to care for their loved ones. This celebration honors each of you with us today and those that have passed on. Forever grateful and in our hearts!
