John R. “Bob” Brant, 99, of Logansport, passed away Saturday December 16, 2017 in Millers Merry Manor, Logansport.
Born April 12, 1918 in Bradford, Ohio, he was the son to the late Henry Walter and Pearl (Brubaker) Brant.
On November 26, 1946 in Logansport Bob married Elsie Fillmore who preceded in death August 19, 2001.
Bob was a retired letter carrier for the Logansport Post Office. He was a US Army Veteran and a member of Cross Wind United Methodist Church.
Surviving are four daughters, Barb (Don) Lombardi, Logansport; Cherie Shideler, Logansport; Sandy (Tom) Halseth, Plover, WI; Deb (Waldo) Trueb, Logansport; six grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Bob was preceded in death by eight siblings.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am Monday in the Mount Hope cemetery chapel with Pastor Nick Robinson officiating. Burial, with full military honors, will be provided by the Cass County Honor Guard.
