Lynne L. Berkshire, 73 of Logansport, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Franciscan St. Elizabeth East in Lafayette.
Born on November 23, 1944 in Longview, Washington, she was the daughter to the late Richard and G. Lorraine (Bartell) Rehwald. On November 9, 1971 in Logansport she married Howard (Sonny) E. Berkshire who survives.
Lynne retired from the Pharos Tribune where she worked in customer relations and the circulation department.
Surviving along with her husband “Sonny” are two sons, Scott (Tracy) Berkshire, Amboy, IN; Tony Berkshire, Logansport; three step daughters, Brenda (Matt) Clark, Galveston; Cindy Smith, Logansport; Susan Hollis and Companion Lee Hamilton, Royal Center; one niece, Laura Dillon, Logansport; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Starkey.
A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Andy Weil officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Logansport.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 also in the funeral home.
