Mayor says supporters can contribute to Memorial Center through tax incentive

Last Updated on December 12, 2017 by cassnetwork

Area residents and corporations can contribute to the cause of restoring the Logansport/Cass County Memorial Center and reduce their state tax bills.

Through Dec. 18, 2017 the state is accepting applications for Neighborhood Assistance Program tax credits. Up to $25,000 may be raised through the program. All money raised from it must be used for the replacement of the heating, ventilation and air-conditioning system at the center at 700 E. Market St.

The center is jointly owned by the city and county.

According to Mayor Dave Kitchell, those interested in contributing can contact the mayor’s office at 574-753-2551 for more information.
