An administrator who has played critical roles in the transitions at Logansport State Hospital over the past 20 years is recognized with a special city honor.

Rob Clover, who is retiring as administrator at the hospital, has been named Citizen of the Week by Mayor Dave Kitchell. Clover was honored Friday with an afternoon reception at the hospital.

“In Rob, the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration has had an invaluable employee with an institutional memory that spans not only different state government administrations, but state and federal regulations and hospital administrations,” the mayor said. “Through it all, he has been a dependable, respect constant which is among reasons why Logansport State Hospital continues to be one of our leading employers and an example of the dedicated Hoosiers who serve Hoosiers under the auspices of the IFSSA.”

The Citizen of the Week is sponsored by the Mayor’s Office and recognizes Logansport natives or residents who contribute to the community or are recognized for their achievements. Recipients received a certificate of appreciation from the city and a $20 gift certificate.
