Kathleen L. Masunas, 66, of Kewanna passed away at 9:07 a.m., Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Life Care Center in Rochester.
Born on October 24, 1951 in Muskegon, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Alex and Mary (Cook) Masunas.
She was a 1970 Kewanna High School graduate.
Kathy was formerly employed at Miller’s Merry Manor in Culver and Federal Mogul in Leiters Ford.
She attended Kewanna Church of Christ in her younger years. Kathy enjoyed reading and she loved animals, especially her dog, Lily.
Survivors include her daughter, Melanie Masunas of Kewanna, brother, William “Bill” Conran of Kewanna, sisters, Bev Whiteman (Kenny) of Kewanna, Janice Sterrett of Logansport and Darlene Masunas (Terry Troutman) of Lake Bruce and special friends, Annie and Billie Hurley of Kewanna. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by brothers, Infant Dean Masunas and Harry Conran, sister, Bernice Conran, brother in law, Lee Sterrett and sister in law, Suzanne Conran.
A Celebration of Kathy’s Life will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Home, Kewanna Chapel. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Burial will be at Barnett Cemetery.
