Bessie B. Engle

Bessie B. Engle, 97, of Lake Bruce passed away at 6:25 a.m., Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Culver.

Born on April 23, 1920 in Fulton County, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ada (Cook) Mollencupp.

Bessie was a Kewanna High School graduate.

She retired from Winamac Coil & Spring. Bessie was a member of Kewanna Church of Christ and she enjoyed sewing, crocheting and working word search puzzles.

Survivors include her nieces and nephews, George Jr. (Marci) of Dayton Ohio, Linda Harrold of Warsaw, John Mollencupp (Lorna) of Kewanna, Vicki Luz of Winamac, Ed Mollencupp, Jr.(Teresa) of Lake Bruce and William Mollencupp (Cynthia) of Indianapolis.
She is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Cecil “Jake” Engle, brothers, Floyd Ed Mollencupp Sr. Bill Mollencupp and George Mollencupp and sister, Mary Etta Raderstorf.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Homes, Kewanna Chapel with Pastor Aaron McCombs officiating.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Citizens I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Kewanna.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kewanna Church of Christ.
