In celebration of their 25th Anniversary, the Cass County Community Foundation will be hosting a series of Town Hall Meeting to be held in the communities of Galveston, Royal Center, Twelve Mile and Walton.
These meetings will provide time for local citizens to hear from the Foundation about their work in each community and offer an opportunity for the community to share ideas of projects and future needs. The meeting is free and open to the public.
For each person that attends the Town Hall Meeting, $25 will be granted by CCCF to go towards a project to benefit the rural communities up to a total of $2500.
The first community Town Hall Meeting has been scheduled for Thursday March 22, 2018 in Walton. The meeting will take place in the Walton Christian Church Fellowship Hall beginning at 5:30pm and should last one hour. The church is located at 101 W. Bishop Street in Walton.
All citizens in the area are encouraged to attend and discuss ideas on ways to improve the community.
