Ralph R. Cripe

Ralph R. Cripe, 89, Logansport, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018, in Woodbridge Health Campus.

Born July 25, 1928, in Carroll County, he was the son of the late Daniel and Chloe (Mullin) Cripe.

On February 28, 1947, in Logansport, he was married to Norma L. (Grace) Cripe, who preceded him in death June, 18, 1992. He was married on May 2, 1993, in Logansport, to Mary (Viney)Bolinger Cripe, who preceded him in death on Sept. 14, 2010.

Ralph worked as a carpenter for 42 years and was a lifetime member of the Carpenters Local 615. For 18 years, Ralph served as a union officer. He was proud to have been a member of the VFW and American Legion as a father. His hobbies included jigsaw puzzles, crafts and flower gardening.

He is survived by daughter, Pamela Bowman; sons, Michael (Deb) Cripe and Greg (Marcia) Cripe; step-daughters, Terri (Richard) Overpeck and Toby (Jerry) Mitchell; step-son, Tim Bolinger; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and several step-grandchildren; sisters, Helen (the late Billy D.) Cree and Ruby (Tim) Roberson.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Roy, Wayne and Lloyd Cripe; and stepson, Tony Bolinger.

A Funeral Service celebrating Ralph’s life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 26 in Fisher Funeral Chapel.

Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 5-7 p.m. Friday, May 25 in Fisher Funeral Chapel
