Barry Cunningham

Barry Cunningham, 55, of Logansport, passed away Monday, June 4, 2018 in the Franciscan St. Elizabeth East Hospital, Lafayette, following an extended illness.

On December 20, 1962, Barry was born in Greenfield, Indiana.

A 1981 graduate of Pioneer, Barry married his high school sweetheart, Amy (Smith) Cunningham, on March 3, 1984, in Logansport.

Barry worked as an auto inspector with SGS Automotive Services.

A member of the B.P.O. Elks Lodge No. 66, Barry was a faithful attendee at the 3 p.m. meetings and enjoyed hanging out with friends at the lodge. He also enjoyed golfing, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family…especially in his role as a grandpa.

Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Amy Cunnignham, Logansport; his father, Robert Gene Cunningham, Logansport; his mother and stepfather, Janice (Wood) and Clarence Wilson, West Lafayette; his children: Ryan Cunningham and his wife Amy, Logansport and Courtney Cottrell and her fiance Darrell Creviston, Royal Center; grandchildren: Journee & Cooper Cunningham, Kaydence, Dallas & Berklee Cottrell, and Laila, Silas & Sawyer Creviston; and one step-brother, Allen Wilson and his wife Melissa, Hoopeston, IL.

A funeral service celebrating Barry’s life will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 9, in Fisher Funeral Chapel.

Burial will follow in Kistler Cemetery, Royal Center.

Friends will be received from 1 – 3 p.m. Saturday in the funeral chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Elks Lodge No. 66.
