Ruth CosgrayRuth A. Cosgray, 89 of Idaville passed away unexpectedly at 12:19 a.m., Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Logansport Memorial Hospital.

Born on January 9, 1929 in White County, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Beatrice (Townsley) Bridge. She was a 1947 Idaville High School graduate.

On February 9, 1952 she married Glenn B. Cosgray, he survives.

She was a homemaker and lifelong farmwife.

Ruth was a member of White Oak United Methodist Church and the White Oak Women’s Circle. She enjoyed square dancing, sewing, reading and word search puzzles. She loved spending time with her family and friends and cherished all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Glenn B. Cosgray of Idaville, sons, Lynn A. Cosgray and wife Regina of Idaville, Mark D. Cosgray and wife Cindy of Idaville, Brian E. Cosgray and wife Terese of Flora and Bruce E. Cosgray and wife Becky of Logansport, daughter, Cathy S. Ward and husband Randy of Brownsburg and brother, Paul Bridge and wife Kay of Idaville. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and one on the way in September.

She was also preceded in death by brothers, Harold, Howard, Ralph and Wayne Bridge and grandson, Dru Cosgray.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Homes, Royal Center Chapel.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Bell Center Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the White Oak United Methodist Church and/or Bell Center Cemetery.
