Wallace E. “Wally” DibbleWallace E. “Wally” Dibble, 85, of Logansport, passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2018, in his home,

Born April 3, 1933 in Logansport, he was the son of the late George C. and Ruth E.(Smith) Dibble.

On April 4, 1952, in the Grace Fellowship Church, Wally was married to Phyllis E. (Gaddis), who preceded him in Dec. 16, 2014.

An electrician, Wally was affiliated with the IBEW Electrical Union where he worked on several different jobs over the years until his retirement in 1995.

Wally was a member of Grace Fellowship Church. He served on the Little Turtle Waterway board when it was first founded in the mid 80’s.

Surviving are one daughter, Rebecca Adair of Chicago, IL.; one son, Stephen Wallace Dibble and his wife Jeannie of Phoenix, AZ; two sisters, Louisa(Bill) Buzzbee, Ruth Lowry; six grandchildren, Catheryn and her husband John Cummins, Stacy Perry, Chanda Perry, Candice Perry, Ryan Dibble and Shannon Dibble Lucas; several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Cindy Dibble; three brothers, George, Jimmy and Donald Dibble; and two sisters, Ethel Prentice and Mary Campbell.

A memorial service celebrating Wally’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 9, in the Mount Hope Cemetery Chapel with Pastor Jim Zimmerman officiating.
Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service in the cemetery chapel.
