Last Updated on July 22, 2018 by cassnetwork

The Cass County Community Foundation hosted a matching opportunity at the Cass County 4-H Fair to support robotics teams from all four local school systems. The schools had the opportunity to earn a $1 for $1 match up to $500. Including the matching dollars $3,699.99 was raised.

Schools will receive the following:

Caston $1,323.00

Lewis Cass $716.80

Logansport $1,012.95

Pioneer $647.24

CCCF President, Deanna Crispen said, “We are so proud of the students, sponsors and mentors involved in robotics programs and the support we are able to provide. Costs for teams to compete in just 4 events range from $600 at the elementary level to $5,000 or more at the high school level so the need for funding is truly great.”
