Plans call for 4th and 5th Streets in downtown Logansport to be converted from one-way to two-way streets. A public input open house will be held Monday, Aug. 6, from 6 to 6:30 p.m., immediately before the 6:30 City Council meeting. Both meetings will be held in the city council chambers on the third floor of the Logansport City Building. Business owners and general public are invited to view the plans for changing 4th and 5th Streets to two-way streets. The project designer, Logansport Street Commissioner and Deputy Mayor will be present to answer questions and hear suggestions. Deputy Mayor Mercedes Brugh says the project was started by the previous administration. She says the current administration has managed to reduce the cost from about $374,000 to $162,000.
