Trine University in Logansport recognizes Mark DeBarge as the August 2018 Student of the Month. After graduating with his undergraduate degree from Purdue University twenty-five years earlier, Mark decided in 2017 it was time to obtain his Master of Business Administration degree. While carrying an impressive 4.0 GPA, Mark is not only a full-
time student, he is also married with four children. Professionally, Mark works full time as the Purchasing Manager for Midwest Eye Consultants in Wabash. Taking the MBA program completely online allows Mark to find a good balance between school, family and work.
“Obtaining a MBA post-graduate degree had always been a goal that I wanted to achieve for myself. With the urging and support of my wife, Sherry, I decided to finally make it happen. I was a little leery after being away from schooling for a quarter of a century, especially when it came to taking classes online versus the typical brick and mortar I was accustomed to. Both the core and elective classes are stimulating and worthwhile.
