Carol J. Muehlhausen

Carol J. Muehlhausen, 65 of Logansport, passed away Friday, September 7, 2018 at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born on September 9, 1952 in Kenosha, Wisconsin, she is the daughter to the late Walter and Grace (Waldo) Kirchner.  On May 19, 1973 in Lake Zurich, Illinois she married Mark B. Muehlhausen who survives.

Carol retired as a teacher at Franklin Elementary in 2014. She was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church, the Indiana State Teachers Association and worked as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for several years. Carol enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.

Surviving along with her husband Mark, is a daughter Amy Price, Indianapolis; two sons, Adam Muehlhausen, Indianapolis; Andy (Ellen) Muehlhausen, Seattle, Washington; brother, Bill (Fran) Kirchner, Roscoe, IL; two sisters, Kathy (Bill) Trarbach, Clinton, NJ; and Cindy Kirchner, Appleton, WI; one grandson, Jathyn Price.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Calvary Presbyterian Church, 701 Spencer Street, Logansport. Pastor Chuck Compton will be officiating.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the Church on Saturday.
