“Live A Dream” program takes longtime fans to BatCon

Fiberglass Freaks in Logansport celebrated its 15th anniversary with BatCon, a two-day comic con at the Logansport-Cass County Airport.

Trilogy Health Services (parent company of Woodbridge Health Campus), set residents Mark Umbarger and Milan Doering up with tickets as part of the senior living facility’s “Live A Dream program, which enables Trilogy to fulfill resident dreams across its network of Midwestern senior care facilities.

Woodbridge said Umbarger is a DC comics superfan and was overjoyed to hear BatCon was coming to Logansport.

Batcon runs through 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22 and from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23. Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for kids.
