Voter Registration Opportunity set for Tuesday, Sept. 18 in Cass County

Citizens of Cass County will have multiple opportunities to register to vote or to update information regarding their existing registration. Updates are needed if the voter has moved or had a name change. On Tuesday, September 18, 2018, members of the League of Women Voters will be at the following places to assist residents.

Walton Public Library : 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.
Galveston Public Library: 2:30 – 3:30 p.m.
Logansport Public Library: 1:00 – 2:00
Royal Center Library: 11:00 – 1:00
Ivy Tech Community College: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 3:30 – 6:00 p.m.

Any one who will be 18 by Election Day – November 6, 2018, is eligible to register and vote. In Indiana it is not necessary to declare party affiliation to register. Identification such as a driver’s license or social security number are helpful in completing the form. People may go to any of the sites regardless of their home address. The League of Women Voters would like to remind the public that voting is both a right and a responsibility.
