United Way of Cass County plans “Pins for Kids” to benefit Cass County Reading Railroad

Last Updated on October 22, 2018 by cassnetwork

Reading Railroad is a program of the United Way of Cass County. Due to the closing of our beloved, Big Brothers Big Sisters Agency, we are taking on the former “Bowl for Kids’ Sake” in order to benefit Reading Railroad. This event will take place Saturday, March 2, 2019 and will be held at Myers Sport Bowl.

“We are very excited to take this on,” says executive director Chris Armstrong.” It is near and dear to me because I ran this event for seven years when I was the director of BBBS. This is a much-needed fundraiser for Reading Railroad and we can’t wait to get started.”

There will not be a lot of changes from how it has been done in the past. More information will be forthcoming, but we wanted to get the word out so that people can plan for it. Rebecca McVay, Director of BBBS has been quite helpful in getting us started. We look forward to a very busy and successful event.
