Brett Alan Perry, 53, Walton, Indiana, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at home.
Born January 10, 1972, in Rensselaer, Indiana, he was the son of Marvin Perry, who survives. and the late Pauletta (Allen) Perry.
In 2007, he was married to Breanna (Mannies) Perry, who survives.
Brett was a 1991 graduate of Pioneer High School. For the past 33 years, he had dedicated his strong work ethic and skill as a molder technician at IDI.
On any given Sunday, Brett was watching football. A Colts fan through and through – and loyal to Lewis Cass- he’d tune in to any game just to see how other teams played. He loved being outdoors, especially when he was hunting or fishing. His family was the center of his world, and everything in his life revolved around them.
Brett was the kind of man who could listen well and talk for hours. His humor leaned toward sarcasm, the kind that made people laugh because they knew it came from a good place. He was well‑known for his voice impersonations and the way he could slip into different accents without missing a beat.
In addition to his wife, Breanna, and father, Marvin, he is survived by six children: Emilie (Zyon) Rennewanz, Cassidee Chapman, Lahleya Perry, Noelani Parry, Trayvin Perry, and Landyn Perry; brothers, Shawn Perry and Eric Perry; sisters, Jodi Perry and Shelley Perry; and two grandchildren, Laynie and Cora Rennewanz.
He was precced in death by his mother, Pauletta, and his brother, Lloyd Lee “Rusty” Perry.
Private services will be held.
