Linda Stilwell

Linda Lea (Smith) Stilwell, age 83, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at Millers Merry Manor in Logansport. She was born at Logansport Memorial Hospital on May 17, 1943. Linda is remembered for her sweet, loving, generous nature. She dedicated herself to caring for others and to her faith in God. She spent a number of years running her own daycare service. Linda was a talented baker and had a powerful sweet tooth. She loved nature and spent many happy hours watching birds in her yard. More than anything, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter Jay and Buna Smith, and 13 siblings. Linda is survived by her loving husband William Stilwell and their beloved dog Buddy. She leaves behind her sister Agnes Small and her brother Jerry (Linda) Smith. She also leaves behind her children Johnny (Carla), Beth (David), Melanie, and Jody (Debby); her grandchildren Sandon, Jesica (Brian), Jessica, Ashley, Nicole (Jack), Dusty (Brian), Zac (Jamie), Whitney (Teddy), Natasha, Jodie, Patrick, Eric, Matthew, and Dylan; and many great-grandchildren.

Linda will be put to rest with her husband, at which time there will be a celebration of life.
