Cletus Emery, Jr.

Cletus Emery, 63, Logansport, Indiana, passed away at home, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, September 30, 2026.

Born December 27, 1962, in Logansport, he was the son of the late Cletus and Jacqueline (Titus) Emery.

For many years, Cletus worked in the machine shop at Thompson Enterprise.

Cletus enjoyed quiet days with a fishing pole in his hand, and in his younger years he took pride in building model cars. It was the simple things that brought him the most joy.

He is survived by his brother: Dennis (Faith) Emery, Ronald (Connie) Emery, and Brad Emery; sisters, Josephine Emery (Brad Good), Mary Emery, and Kelly (Tom) Zerby; half sister, Ruth Millser; and many nieces and nephews.

The family extends a special thank you to Brad Good for the care and kindness he showed Cletus in his final days. The family will always be grateful for the way Brad looked after Cletus.

In addition to his parents, Cletus was preceded in death by his brothers, Rick and Jeff Emery.

Visitation will be held Monday, October 5, 2026, from 1-3 p.m. at the Fisher Funeral Chapel, Logansport, Indiana, followed by a funeral service at 3 p.m. with Dawn Fisher officiating.

Interment, at a later date, will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
