Linda (Roller) Gabel, age 83, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of love, laughter, memories, and a family who will miss her more than words can express.
Linda was truly one in a million. She was funny, ornery, independent, strong-willed, and had a heart that was always willing to give to others. Family was everything to Linda. She spent much of her life caring for others and helped raise so many children along the way.
She had a way of making people feel like family, whether they were related by blood or simply lucky enough to have Linda in their lives.
Linda found her greatest joy in her family. She loved spending time with those she loved, working in her yard, and enjoying a good game of bingo. Her home, her family, and the people around her were where she found happiness. She gave freely of herself and never hesitated to help someone who needed her.
Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Gabel; her parents; and seven brothers and sisters.
She leaves behind her three daughters, Toni (Mike), Kelly, and Lisa; her sister, Barb; her grandchildren, LeAnne (Mark), Cameron, Eric, Lyndsey, Brandon (Tero), and Mike (Amanda); and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who were blessed to know her.
Her family will remember Linda not only as a mother, grandmother, and sister, but as a woman who gave so much of herself to others. Her independent spirit, mischievous sense of humor, generosity, and unmistakable personality will live on in the many lives she touched.
Linda leaves behind a legacy that is far greater than words can capture. She helped raise children, loved generations of family, gave when she had something to give, and made memories that will be carried forward for generations.
She was one in a million, and there will never be another Linda.
She will be deeply loved, deeply missed, and forever remembered.
A graveside service will be held at the Ever-Rest Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.
