Yvonne Maggart

Yvonne Maggart, 89 of Burnettsville, passed away peacefully at home, Sunday evening, September 27, 2026.

Born October 11, 1936, in White County, she was the daughter of the late Virgil and Lucille (Hathaway) Geisler.

Yvonne was a graduate of Burnettsville High School.

On October 26, 1953, she was married to Bob Maggart, who survives.

Yvonne was a longtime member of the Burnettsville Family Fellowship Church.

Also surviving is their daughter, Vickie Luchene and her fiancé, Tom Noel), of Logansport; three grandchildren, Cheryl Small (Braden, and Shawn and Thomas Maggart; three great-grandchildren, Tiffany, Gabriel and Isabell; two siblings, Dave (Diane) Geisler, and Sally Martin; sister-in-law, Diana Geisler; and brothers-in-law, Jerry (Barbie) Maggart, and David Maggart; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Doyle (Dixie) Geisler, Danny Geisler, Michael Geisler, Richard Geisler, Judy (Gilbert) DeWitt, and Cheryl Burnfield; and sister-in-law, Susie Maggart.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, October 2 in Fisher Funeral Chapel, Logansport.

A funeral service celebrating Yvonne’s life will begin at 1 p.m.in the funeral chapel. 

Interment will follow in the in the Idaville Cemetery.
