New skating experience and Friday night holiday markets join beloved traditions, shopping, dining, and community celebrations throughout November and December.
The holidays will be even brighter in Logansport this year! Light Up Logansport is expanding from a traditional one-day celebration into six weeks of holiday festivities, highlighted by the exciting addition of a new ice-skating rink adjacent to The Pavilion and a series of Friday evening Holiday Night Markets.
The rink will bring a new winter experience to Logansport, offering families, friends, and visitors another way to gather, make memories, and enjoy the magic of the holiday season. Its addition is part of a larger community-wide effort to transform Light Up Logansport into a season-long celebration.
Adding to the excitement, The Pavilion will host a Holiday Night Market every Friday evening beginning November 27, the day after Thanksgiving, and continuing through December 18. The markets will offer a festive opportunity to shop with local vendors, discover unique holiday gifts, and enjoy the sights and sounds of the season. Together with the nearby skating rink, the markets will create a lively Friday night destination for families and visitors looking to celebrate the holidays in downtown Logansport.
Beginning in mid-November and continuing through the end of December, local businesses, organizations, and community partners will come together to offer holiday entertainment, special shopping opportunities, seasonal dining experiences, and activities for all ages.
The beloved Light Up Logansport parade, Christmas in the Park, and other traditional festivities will remain important highlights of the season. The addition of the skating rink, Holiday Night Markets, and expanded calendar of events will provide even more reasons for residents and visitors to experience the holidays in Logansport.
Beyond creating memorable holiday experiences, the expanded celebration is designed to encourage residents and visitors to explore downtown, discover local businesses, and support the community throughout the holiday shopping season.
Light Up Logansport will serve as a central resource connecting the many activities hosted by individual businesses and organizations. A comprehensive calendar of events, skating rink information, Holiday Night Market details, participating in businesses, and seasonal activities will be available at www.LightUpLogansport.com, with updates added throughout the season.
This expanded celebration is made possible through the generous support and collaboration of community sponsors and partners, including the Cass County Community Foundation, Logan’s Landing, McCord’s Do It Best, the Logansport Parks Department, the City of Logansport, Steinberger Construction, Shepler Construction, and Daniel Anderson.
