The Panhandle Pathway recently welcomed some fresh tracks as Zionsville residents Mark and Rebecca made the trip to north-central Indiana to experience the scenic trail together. The weekend getaway provided the perfect opportunity to test out Rebecca’s brand-new bicycle.

While Mark was already familiar with the route, he was eager to introduce his wife to the trail for the very first time. Living on the northwest side of Indianapolis, the couple frequently looks for weekend rides that offer an escape from heavy city traffic without requiring an exhausting drive from home.

For them, the Panhandle Pathway checked every box, providing a quiet, safe, and beautifully rural environment to get outside and ride.

“Thank you for such a nice trail,” the couple shared following their excursion. “We enjoyed our visit and will be back.”

With its peaceful atmosphere and easy proximity to the Indy metro area, the trail continues to prove itself as a premier destination for regional cyclists looking for a serene retreat.
